Everyone faces difficulties and challenges, even if only the challenge to remain fully alive in the face of the numbing effects of contemporary civilization.  After coming to the crossroads in my own life, I have found the wisdom, insight, compassion, clarity and joy contained in A Course In Miracles to be the greatest gift I could have possibly received.

A Course in Miracles has been called a self-study course in spiritual psychotherapy.  Published by the non-profit Foundation for Inner Peace in 1975 after what can safely be called an unusual gestation, it has now, without any organized marketing campaign or sales force of any kind, reached millions of people all over the world and changed countless lives. It has now been translated into over twenty languages. 

You may be impressed by the intellectual elegance of the concepts expressed.  You may be entranced by the poetic beauty of the text, with page after page flowing in iambic pentameter blank verse.  You may be outraged at its casual rejection of many common Christian beliefs, or offended at its redefinition of fundamental Christian terminology.  You may be viscerally annoyed by its frequent re-use of these redefined Christian terms.  You may be angry at its unflinching debunking of your cherished illusions about yourself and others. 

The Course is certainly not for everyone.  It is one of thousands of paths, each of which is correct for those who have chosen it. Thus it may not be for you at all. But if you do find it valuable, I will be gratified to have provided you with this connection.
